Booth at Mid Cities Antique Mall

I have officially have moved into my booth at the Antique Mall.  It isn't completely done but it is set up enough to come SHOP!!!  I have all kinds of goodies to buy and will be making even more in the next week or two.  So please come by and shop!!

Cont.....Baby Showers

Here is the diaper cake I made it was a PRINCESS CASTLE ON LIGHTED FLOATING CLOUDS.  This one was a bit of a challenge but it turned out SO cute.  The towers are bottles wrapped in paper then hand painted.  I found princess baby toys to put through out the castle but accented it with flowers and butterflies.  The light under the sparkling clouds is a soft white light that stays cool and works great for a nursery night light.  The clouds have sparkle and pink hearts......

Then the BABY SHOWER BANNER........ This was made with heavy chipboard cut-out as baby onesies.  I covered it with PURPLE PRINCESS material and and cutout sparkly letters for each onesie.  Then accented with flowers, butterflies, bling, etc.........  Then attached them together by ribbon so they could hang all together.

BABY SHOWERS!!!!

They are SO much fun to do!!  The last one I did was JUNGLE THEME but sadly I forgot to take pictures and that diaper cake was my BEST yet!!  Teach me to stay up all night trying to get it all done......lol!!


So I will move on to the next baby shower I did a year ago for some dear friends of mine.  I never get to do girly stuff so I went just a little over board but it was all worth it........


So it was a "Purple Princess (co-ed) Baby Shower"


First, I always start with the "Introductory Table". (This is the table that everyone will see FIRST.  You will want to put your name tags here, anything you want the guests see or sign FIRST.)  But also make it where guests can come & go to this table as well.  You might get traffic jams and guests will come back, guests might forget to do something or forget to pick up something .... so you want it where it is easy access.


*  I made labels to cover water bottles with the shower "info" along with Crystal Light packets tied onto the bottles.


*  I took individually wrapped packages of popcorn, then cut card stock paper to go around it 
and decorated the edges.  Then typed out on the computer a cute saying ..(and attached it to the front)
      "Thank you for helping my mommy & daddy to prepare 
        for when I POP"


*  I made vases filled with.........
       ~ ROSES ~ made from baby socks (you can use ruffled socks too ~ I did * see picture)
       ~ ROSES ~ made from Hershey kisses
       ~ LOLLIPOPS ~ made from baby washcloths


*  I made BABY BOOK (well sort of)......  It was a sign in book but for guests/family/friends to give the new parent to be some words of encouragement, warm wishes, share a funny story, blessings, etc.......


*  And last I made homemade THANK YOU cards but let "mommy & daddy to be" have those, but I put the envelopes on the table with a bag next to them.  On the bag I wrote a little note asking the guests to self address an envelope to themselves.  That would save mommy & daddy a lot of writing and time.

Diaper Cake w/ Party Favors

It is nice to have a cute center piece (aka Diaper Cake), but it is even better when it has PARTY FAVORS for the guests too!!  Here is a diaper cake I did but I also made little shoes to go around the cake to decorate it.  The shoes were filled with candy wrapped in tulle that the guest were able to take home. I can do it in any color or size that you want.  

Mini Candy Bar Cakes

Need a different kind of CAKE for your next birthday party, baby shower, retirement party, holiday get together, etc.......  Here are a couple that I did, they are made out of mini candy bars.  

They can be smaller, taller, shorter or whatever you want, any theme you want.  They are so much fun to have at a party.  They make a wonderful centerpiece for any occasion.  

Mommy Needs a BRAG BOOK......

Mommy's always need a brag book.  This is one I did for a friend of mine.  I would be happy to make another one if someone needed one, I love to make GIRLY THINGS.......

The Favorite Cross..........

This cross I only bought stuff to make ONE, well I have sold over 6 and counting.  As soon as I find more stuff they are back out the door....... I cant keep them in STOCK!!  Who would have known????

More Crosses............

How about some SOUTHWESTERN FLING!!!  This has several crosses, different colors of turquoise, some little mirrors at the bottom and some little stones to match!!

This cross is really cool, the fabric on this one is amazing.

There is ribbing around the large cross plus a really cute flower in the middle along with matching stones.  This one is 

different but has some really cool features!!

This Crosses fabric is silky but the black is a flocking type of texture.  It has a black frame in the center with a ribbon flower and BLING!!!

Here is a really popular one.  The cross is painted black on the back then you have this burlap type material with a gorgeous brocade swirl.  And a little BLING to match!!
